VICTOR H. WOMACK
Victor Hamilton Womack, born in Rome, GA, moved to Miami and attended local public schools until volunteering for the US Army, during the Vietnam War, and served honorably for three years. Upon discharge, he used his GI Bill to attend the University of Miami and achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. After a short time as a reporter for “The Miami Herald”, he decided to pursue a law degree at University of Miami.
For the next 25 years, he represented many Florida hospitals and hundreds of doctors and nurses in over 500 cases. He also represented clients in several other states, concentrating solely on medical malpractice cases. He has tried to verdict over two hundred (200) medical malpractice cases and his successful career is distinguished by an unprecedented number of favorable verdicts.
After 25 years of defending health care providers, he has decided to utilize his trial skills and experience by representing only victims of medical malpractice exclusively. He found that representing victims of medical malpractice, and their families, was much more satisfying. He has attained numerous multi-million-dollar awards for his clients. He stands ready to help victims of medical malpractice by using his years of experience, court room skills, and his intimate knowledge of how the “other side” defends such cases..
Mr. Womack is rated AV Preeminent, the highest attorney peer rating standard by Martindale-Hubbell, the most legitimate attorney rating organization for more than 130 years. It is given to attorneys who are ranked at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards by their peers.
Mr. Womack is also a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates, a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges. It is an invitation-only organization. Mr. Womack has written many articles for legal publications, and he co-authored a book “Insurance, Deposition, Strategy, Law and Forms,” published by Matthew Bender, 1981.
Mr. Womack is a frequent lecturer at medical schools, hospitals, and legal seminars. He has made numerous appearances on national and local TV programs speaking on issues related to medical malpractice. Mr. Womack was a featured speaker at the American Associates of Insurance Adjusters at its national convention in Nashville, Tennessee.
